Storno ?

It is strange a word “storno”. Everybody had ever made a mistake.

Aviators have a concept of “point of no return”.

This is the moment when it is impossible to abandon the takeoff or when to fly further – there is not enough fuel to return.

In financial Affairs, storno is a legal, legitimate operation to correct a record retroactively, cancel it and admit it as a mistake.
